The bookshop

Settembrini’s living room. Carlo Paragona runs it with great passion and particular attention to small indipendent publishing houses, the classics and little known Italian and international new releases. The kitchen at lunchtime offers dishes with a touch of fusion, where asian spices seamlessly blend with the aromas of Mediterranean.

You can create your own dish choosing from the selection on display in the open plan kitchen: wok, steam, slow cooking, a daily offering from which you can have fun choosing and selecting your own unique combination. Start from a base of basmati rice, black rice or cous cous and then decide between meat, fish or vegetables. Everything is freshly prepared and home-made, wine by the glass varies daily, a great selection of background music is always playing and free wi-fi is available to all. The bookshop’s evenings showcase ramen and noodles. He has created a unique menu in which Japanese dishes are reinterpreted with a Mediterranean angle. The bookshop also offers delivery and take-away services. Delivery is free and with no minimum order.

Aperitivo is often an opportunity to attend book presentations and meetings with writers.
